06/21/2018 (Slovak Republic) - Representatives of the 'For a Decent Slovakia' initiative have called for a public anti-government rally to take place in Bratislava on Friday, June 22. Activists are scheduled to gather at the State Government Office at Namestie Slobody (Freedom Square) at 1700hrs (1500 UTC), before proceeding towards Slovak National Uprising (SNP) Square. Simultaneous demonstrations are expected to be held in Banska Bystrica, Kosice, and other cities nationwide. The events are expected to remain largely peaceful, though a heavy security presence is anticipated.

Members are advised to avoid the vicinity of all demonstrations and political gatherings in Slovakia due to the risk of exposure to potential crowd disturbances and incidental violence. Monitor local media for the latest developments involving the protests and any associated travel or services disruption. All directives by local authorities or security forces should be adhered to.
