06/20/2018 (United States) - According to emerging social media feeds on Wednesday, 20 June, a fire has been reported at the Sisters of Charity Hospital on Main Street in Buffalo, New York State. Footage shows that fire brigades have been dispatched to the area. It is not known if patients and personnel of the hospital have been evacuated. No reports about casualties have been released at this time. Travel disruption is likely in the area due to emergency operations.

Clients in Buffalo are advised to avoid the vicinity of the fire due to the ongoing containment and rescue operations. Residents nearby should keep windows closed and avoid inhaling smoke and fumes from the fire.
