06/18/2018 (United States) - A gunman opened fire at a Walmart in Tumwater, Washington State on Sunday, 18 June, hitting and injuring at least two people. The incident occurred at roughly 1700 hrs (0000 UTC) and ended when the shooter was shot dead by an armed member of the public.
Members in Tumwater are advised to remain clear of the affected area due to ongoing investigations. Closely monitor local media sources for further updates in order to remain apprised of any developments. In an active shooter situation, members should run as far as possible if safe to do so, or remain hidden behind solid cover.
