06/18/2018 (Moldova) - According to local news sources on Monday, 18 June, several severe floods have been reported in Causeni district due to recent heavy rain. Travel disruption is likely and landslides may occur in the area. Several villages in Floresti and Ungheni districts have been inundated by floodwaters and there has been damage to several roads and bridges in Causeni, including the main route to Ukraine. Emergency services and government officials are working to assess the extent of the damage caused by the flooding.
