Reports of Shooting at Public Event in Trenton, New Jersey

06/17/2018 (United States) - According to social media reports on Sunday, 17 June, a number of people have been shot by an unidentified gunman at an art event in central Trenton, New Jersey. The incident is thought to have occurred in the early hours of Sunday morning on the 600th block of South Clinton Avenue. In a statement the Trenton Police department confirmed that one person has died and others a seriously injured in a shootout with responding officers. The motive behind the attack is currently unclear.

Members in Los Angeles are advised to remain clear of the affected area and anticipate armed police presence. Closely monitor local media sources for further updates in order to remain apprised of any developments. In an active shooter situation, members should run as far as possible if safe to do so, or remain hidden behind solid cover.
