Traffic Interrupted at Macedonia-Kosovo Border due Landslide in Kacanik

05/22/2018 (Kosovo) - On Tuesday, 22 May, the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) issued a notice to warn travellers that the road E-65 connecting Kosovo and Macedonia has been closed on the Kosovan side between Kacanik and Hani i Elezit, due to landslides. Traffic is affected over the area and it has become impossible to cross the border.
Members are advised to avoid the aforementioned areas due to the ongoing emergency operations in the area and should anticipate travel disruptions in the immediate term. Travellers should monitor local media sources for any further information and heed any directives issued by the authorities.
