Update: One Fatality Following Shooting Outside of School in Jonesboro, Georgia

05/19/2018 (United States) - According to local media sources on Saturday, 19 May, one person has been killed and another injured following a shooting during a graduation ceremony near the Mount Zion High school in the city of Jonesboro, Georgia. Reports indicate that the shooting occurred following a heated argument in a parking lot outside the school. Authorities have stated that the shooter is on the run and that they are currently conducting operations in order to apprehend him.

Members in Jonesboro are advised to remain clear of the affected area and anticipate armed police presence. Closely monitor local media sources for further updates in order to remain apprised of any developments. In an active shooter situation, members should run as far as possible if safe to do so, or remain hidden behind solid cover.
