05/19/2018 (Germany) - A large rally is slated to take place in the capital Berlin on Sunday, 27 May. The march has been organised by the right-wing political party Alternative fur Deutschland (AfD) and could attract more than 10,000 people from across the country. The march will gather at Washington Square near the central station, before progressing to the Brandenburg Gate. A number of counter-protests are also planned, including a 'protest rave' in the central borough of Mitte, where participants may attempt to disrupt the march.

Members are advised to avoid the vicinity of the march due to the potential for incidental violence, opportunistic crime and heavy-handed crowd dispersal operations. Travellers should also be aware of the potential for overland travel disruption and road closures in the vicinity of the protest.
