05/18/2018 (France) - Interior Minister Gerard Collomb has claimed that authorities have thwarted a possible terror attack. In an interview with BFM Television on Friday, 18 May, the minister said that authorities had identified a plot by two men of Egyptian origin, involving explosives or ricin poison. No further information was released about the plot.
Members in France are advised to maintain a heightened level of situational awareness due to the enduring terror threat. Any suspicious activity or objects should be immediately reported to authorities.
