05/18/2018 (Pakistan) - Four people have been killed and a further 10 injured in cross-border strikes near Sialkot, Punjab. The strikes reportedly began on the morning of Friday, 18 May in Pukhlian, Cahprar, Harpal, Charwah and Shakargarh sectors. The fatalities were all members of the same family.
Those in Punjab are advised to minimise time spent in the vicinity of the border due to ongoing military operations in the area. Members are advised to liaise with local officials and trusted security providers to avoid zones deemed unstable or with active security operations. Contingency measures should be continually reviewed and updated accordingly so as to remain commensurate to local threat environment.
