02/24/2018 (Venezuela) - The National Bolivarian Armed Forces will hold military drills across Venezuela on Saturday, 24 February, and Sunday, 25 February. The National Bolivarian Armed Forces will be joined by army reservists, the Bolivarian National Militia and civilian groups. Additional security measures and travel disruption are likely in the vicinity of the exercises.
Those in-country should closely follow local media outlets to remain apprised of developments in their specific area of operations. Avoid all areas where such exercises are taking place and heed all directives by security forces. Moreover, clients are reminded that Venezuela is a high-risk country, and as such, all operational movements should be subject to a localised risk assessment and in coordination with a reputable security provider.
