Demonstrators Protest Alleged Balsphemous Social Media Posts in Shahdra Town, Lahore

02/20/2018 (India) - According to local media reports on Tuesday, 20 February, a protest has taken place in Shahdra Town, Lahore over allegedly blasphemous posts on social media websites. Protesters blocked traffic and chanted slogans demanding the hanging of those accused over the posts. Traffic heading towards Sheikhupura, Muridke and Ravi Road was reportedly blocked due to the protest, which was eventually peacefully dispersed by security forces.
