Several Injured Following Bus Truck Collision in Philadelphia

02/20/2018 (United States) - According to local media sources at 0530hrs (1030 UTC) on Tuesday, 20 February, 15 people have been injured following a collision between a Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) bus and a semi-trailer truck which occurred between Frankford Avenue and Orthodox Street in the city of Philadelphia. Those injured were taken to the Einstein Medical Centre. Reports indicate that none of the injuries were life-threatening. Emergency operations are ongoing in the area and motorists are advised to avoid the immediate vicinity of the incident. Some bus services have also been detoured.
