02/15/2018 (Colombia) - According to emerging local media reports on Thursday, 15 February, protesters are disrupting Transmilenio transport services into Bogota in the locality of Soacha, especially in the Terreros district. Imagery circulating on social media shows a robust riot-police presence escorting the overcrowded buses as they struggle to continue their routes. Reports indicate that these incidents are recurrent and likely to continue during the following days.

Personnel in the Bogota area are advised to expect limited services within the Transmilenia transportation network, delays and overcrowding. Clients are further advised to monitor local news for related developments and remain aware that further protests may cause delays to travel.
