Bus Driver Killed by Custom Officers in Lagos

01/18/2018 (Nigeria) - According to local media reports on Thursday, 18 January, a man, thought to be a bus conductor, has been shot dead in the Abule-Egba area of Lagos by Customs Officers chasing a bus loaded with smuggled goods. The reports suggest that the officers fired sporadically at the direction of the vehicle, potentially also wounding other civilians.
