01/15/2018 (United States) - According to local media sources on Monday, 15 January, the southbound lanes of the I-280 Highway from San Francisco towards San Diego have reportedly closed at the intersection with Alemany Boulevard, following a shooting incident. Traffic is being redirected via Highway 101, but residual delays are currently present. The shooting incident was reportedly a drive-by shooting involving several vehicles, but no information about the suspects or the conditions of the victims has been released.
Clients in San Francisco are advised to avoid the vicinity of Highway I-280 due to ongoing security operations and taker note of the potential travel disruption which may occur as a result.
