01/14/2018 (Lebanon) - According to regional media outlets on Sunday, 14 January, at least one person was injured following a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device (VBIED) blast in the South Governorate city of Sidon. It is indicated the target of the attack was an official from the Hamas militant group. The site of the blast has reportedly been cordoned off by security personnel.
Due to the elevated threat from terrorism, clients in Lebanon are advised to maintain a heightened level of vigilance, heed any directives issued by authorities, and report any suspicious items or activity immediately.
