01/13/2018 (Venezuela) - According to emerging social media feeds on Friday, 12 January, dozens of Brazilian nationals being transported by bus to their holiday destination on Margarita Island were assaulted in the vicinity of Puerto Ordaz, Bolivar State. The event comes amidst an acute shortage of food, fuel and medicines suffered countrywide. No more information is available at this stage.
