10/16/2017 (Ireland) - According to incoming local media reports on Monday, 16 October, a power cut caused by storm Ophelia has cause 120,000 in Kerry, Cork, Tipperary, Waterford, Wexford and Limerick to be without power. This has reportedly caused significant disruption to other services. It is currently unknown when power will be returned.

Those without power should note that crews are working to restore it, although there is no timeline for full restoration due to the ongoing storm. Travellers are advised to monitor the local news and bulletins for the latest information that may affect travel and business continuity.
