10/16/2017 (Kenya) - According to incoming unconfirmed social media reports on Monday,16 October, protests and road blocks have been reported in and around Bondo, Siaya County. This reportedly includes burning tires. Further sources indicate a notable security presence in the area. This comes in the context of the upcoming re-run election as ordered by the supreme court.

Those in Kenya are advised to monitor local media sources to remain apprised of any protests or political rallies in their particular area of operations and should be aware of the potential for further unrest, particularly in Nairobi, Mombasa and Kisumu.
