Flights Cancelled as Mango Airlines Pilots Go on Strike

10/16/2017 (South Africa) - Local media reports indicate that a number of internal flights have been cancelled on Monday, 16 October, after Mango Airlines pilots walked out on strike. The industrial action relating to an ongoing pay dispute began at 0500hrs (0300 UTC) leading the airline to cancel or delay numerous flights including those between Port Elizabeth and Johannesburg, Durban and Lanseria, Cape Town and Johannesburg, and Cape Town and Lanseria. It is currently unclear when the industrial action is set to conclude.

Those intending to fly on Mango Airlines services on Monday are advised to contact their travel provider to ascertain the status of their flights.
