10/15/2017 (Mexico) - According to reports from local media outlets on Saturday, 14 October, at least six people have been killed in Uruachi, a municipality in Chihuahua State, following a protracted firefight between gunmen from two rival drug cartels. It is believed state security forces refrained from intervening in the incident due to a lack of resources, allowing the situation to prolong and escalate.

Due to the risks posed by armed criminal outfits, personnel are advised to subject movements within the country to a comprehensive and localised threat assessment, ensuring that all necessary security provisions are in place. Clients are further advised to maintain a heightened level of situational awareness, and follow all directives issued by authorities.
