10/13/2017 (Syria) - According to national media reports on Friday, 13 October, Turkish forces have entered the northwestern Syrian province as part of a joint mission with Russia and Iran to enforce a ceasefire. Some reports suggest that up to 30 military vehicles escorted by Syrian rebels have entered Idlib province, which is largely controlled by Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), a jihadi alliance led by the al-Qaida linked al-Nusra Front.
