10/11/2017 (Nigeria) - According to local media sources on Wednesday, 11 October, at 0900hrs (0800 UTC) a former state official was killed following an attack by unknown gunmen at his residence in the town of Barakin Ladi in Plateau State. Reports indicate that a further 12 people have also been injured following the attack including security guards stationed at the residence. Authorities have commented that no arrests have been made as of yet, however, operations are currently ongoing in the area.
