10/11/2017 (Colombia) - According to local media reports, members of prominent trade unions intend to stage a protest in central Bogota on Thursday, 12 October. The demonstration is in opposition to current planned pension reform within the country. Previous demonstrations of the nature have garnered a high attendance.
Those within the area on the aforementioned date are advised to closely monitor protest-related developments through local media outlets. In general, clients are advised to avoid the vicinity of protests and demonstrations which occur in India in order to mitigate against exposure to opportunity crime, unruly crowd behaviour and police crowd control measures.
