Protesters Storm Odessa City Council

09/20/2017 (Ukraine) - According to local media sources on Wednesday, 20 September, a group of protesters has reportedly stormed the City Council building in Odessa. The protesters had gathered to demand the resignation of the mayor after a fatal fire at a children's camp. Police attempted to disperse the demonstration with tear gas, but protesters managed to break through the security cordons and enter the building. At least 20 police officers and 16 national guardsmen have been injured so far. Imagery from the scene indicates that protesters are still inside the City Council building.
