Security Cordon near Wilson Street in London due to Suspicious Package

09/20/2017 (United Kingdom) - According to emerging reports from local media sources on Wednesday, 20 September, Wilson Street in London has currently been evacuated due to a suspicious package. As a safety precaution, the junctions of Moorgate and South Place, Eldon Street and Blomfield Street, as well as Wilson Street and South Street have been cordoned off. Police are at the scene and have advised members of the public to avoid the area.

Police operations are underway and it is unclear when normal operations will resume. Clients within the vicinity of the aforementioned area are advised to heed all directives issued by local authorities, and should report any suspicious items, persons or activity to security forces immediately. Furthermore, clients should adjust travel plans accordingly to minimise the impact of localised travel disruptions.
