09/16/2017 (Turkey) - According to local media reports, a demonstration is scheduled to be held near the Incirlik Air Base in Adana on Saturday, 16 September, commencing at 1300hrs (1000 UTC). The protest has been organised by the young wing of the Patriotic Party. Participants are protesting to denounce the referendum on Kurdish independence and Israel's recent endorsement of Kurdish statehood.

Clients in Adana are advised to avoid the vicinity of all political gatherings and demonstrations in order to limit exposure to incidental violence and heavy-handed police crowd-dispersal methods. Clients are further advised to anticipate localised travel disruption resulting from increased security in the vicinity of protests.
