Allow additional travel time; plan accordingly for potential delays at check-in counters and security screening points at airports. Due to the elevated risk of petty crime, observe commonsense precautions to secure money and valuables. Keep valuables in a hotel or residential safe, or out of sight in the trunk of a locked vehicle. Avoid carrying or displaying expensive items in public, including loose jewelry, laptops, large cameras, and smartphones. Travel in groups, if possible, particularly at night. Do not accept food or drinks from strangers.
