April 1, 2010. Ukraine bans Russian pork after swine fever outbreak

Ukrainian authorities on March 30th banned the import of pork from Russia's Southern, Central, and Volga federal districts following outbreaks of the highly contagious swine fever, also known as hog cholera, in the Volgograd, Saratov, and Voronezh oblasts.
